Thomas Bywater
Tēnā koe! Thomas Bywater is a travel journalist and multimedia producer based in Edinburgh, Scotland. He has held staff writing and video producer roles with the New Zealand Herald, specialising in adventure travel, aviation and Antarctic tourism. Winner of the 2019 Treadright Foundation Award for writing on sustainable tourism. He was named Gordon McLauchlan Travel Reporter of the Year in 2023 by the News Publishers Association and nominated again in 2021.
